Key Responsibilities
- Prepare S278, S38, and S104 application packages for the adoption and maintenance of roads and drainage systems by local authorities and water companies.
- Design and develop detailed drawings using AutoCAD and drainage design software like Causeway PDS Flow and InfoDrainage.
- Apply CIRIA guidance for sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and prepare Drainage Impact Assessments, particularly in Scotland.
- Use earthworks software for cut and fill analysis to optimize land and material use during construction.
Requirements
- Well-rounded civil engineer with a blend of technical expertise and project management skills.
- Comfortable working with various stakeholders and thoroughly understand UK regulations and standards related to highway and drainage projects.
