Account Manager

A1 Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Internal Account Coordinator to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover basis. This role is based in Basildon and requires a strong customer service focus.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead point of contact for allocated customers' portfolios, ensuring timely updates and efficient communication.
- Generate works orders, process sales orders, and request project information to meet customer expectations.
- Run monthly reports, flagging risks and potential financial losses, and escalate complaints to the relevant department.
- Arrange collections, book couriers, and complete necessary paperwork.
- Identify customer returns, book them into the system, and generate picklists and delivery notes for dispatch.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in customer accounts roles, with a manufacturing environment desirable but not essential.
- Great attention to detail, self-motivation, and a positive attitude.
- Well-presented, polite, and tactful, with experience of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work individually, and as part of a team, and remain calm under pressure.
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
Friday: 08:00 - 15:30
This is a full-time, on-site position.
