We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe. As a key member of our Maintenance and Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including planned and preventative maintenance, to ensure the optimal performance of our equipment and facilities.
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and Maintenance/Engineering Coordinator to develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans.
- Contribute to the development of the Oakside function by acquiring new skills and knowledge in line with the Moy Park competency framework.
- NVQ level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven mechanical experience and good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full driving license and good IT skills.
Monday to Friday, 07:30am to 17:15pm, with on-call rota for weekdays and weekends. Hourly rate: £18.75, with overtime paid at 1.5 times after 46.25 hours.
