Elevation Recruitment Group is collaborating with a prominent foundry to identify a skilled Post-Casting Operations Manager.
Compensation:
£35,000 - £40,000 plus bonuses and profit-sharing opportunities.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday from 6am to 3pm, and Friday from 6am to 12pm.
This foundry is responsible for approximately 1000 castings each month. The Post-Casting Operations Manager will oversee all activities related to post-casting processes, which encompass heat treatment, non-destructive testing (NDT), fettling, and inspection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically plan and manage all facets of post-casting operations.
- Collaborate with the Production Controller to ensure monthly production goals are achieved.
- Monitor and ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs) are met, including safety, quality, cost, delivery, and personnel management.
Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates with a robust background in post-casting operations, including:
- Experience in foundry operations, particularly in welding, fettling, and NDT of castings.
- Familiarity with machining processes, especially in the context of castings.
- Proven leadership experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of steel casting production methodologies.
