About the Role

We are seeking an experienced residential conveyancing paralegal to join our award-winning property team at McKinlay Law. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our leading partner to advise on all aspects of residential work, including investment acquisition, residential sales and purchases, and refinancing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Property Searches: Conduct thorough property searches to ensure accurate and timely results.
  2. Land Registry Portal Management: Handle all aspects of the Land Registry Portal, including obtaining OCEs, title documents, and applications.
  3. Form Submissions: Submit AP1 and SDLT forms with precision and attention to detail.
  4. Report Drafting: Draft reports on title, review and report on title, and provide expert analysis.
  5. Contract Drafting: Draft contracts of sale with accuracy and attention to detail.
  6. Post-Completion Work: Manage all aspects of post-completion work, including dealing with notices of transfer and charge, share certificates, stock transfer forms, and deeds of covenant.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need at least 12 months' experience as a conveyancing paralegal and be able to deal with all aspects of the residential transaction from instruction through to post-completion. You must also be able to conduct searches with minimal supervision.
