Job Title: Commissioning Engineer - Nuclear Industry

Job Summary:

Orion Group is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and successful commissioning of nuclear projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of commissioning plans and manage tasks within the System Commissioning scope of work.
  • Carry out commissioning preparation, test documents, commissioning test packs, and RAMS.
  • Perform testing activities throughout all stages of commissioning.
  • Contribute to the production of test documentation and the initiation and implementation of FOBs and TQs.
  • Perform testing activities for witnessing by third-parties.
  • Apply and remove Temporary Commissioning Aids.
  • Contribute to the recording of supporting data in accordance with test requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the commissioning process and drive progress to meet schedule deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform commissioning work against a project schedule.
  • 3 years of commissioning experience in a similar role for either the nuclear industry or another highly regulated industry.
  • Experience with completions management systems.
  • Preferred HNC/HND in Engineering-related subject or route to achieve similar.
  • Must have an instrumentation bias/background.
