About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Practitioner to join our dynamic team at the Waterview Centre, a specialist personality disorder service serving the boroughs of Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster.

As a Senior Clinical Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to individuals with severe personality disorder, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessments, interventions, and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients, identifying specific personality traits, emotional abilities, and capacity to work towards shared treatment goals.
  • Facilitate and co-facilitate a range of therapy groups, including Mentalization Based Treatment (MBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
  • Act as Lead Professional for an identified number of service users, establishing and maintaining long-term supportive relationships.
  • Conduct joint home visits, engage with service users, and initiate safeguarding alerts as clinically indicated.
  • Work with service users in individual and group sessions, managing risk and maintaining a safe and therapeutically sensitive environment.
  • Assess the needs of carers and work with them to best support the service user, with consent.
