About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Handyman to join our team in Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure our facilities are well-maintained and in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Perform maintenance and minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, and other systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Install appliances and equipment as needed to meet the needs of our facilities.
  • Identify and report the need for major repairs to ensure timely resolution.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner to ensure minimal disruption.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role with a strong track record of maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of electrics and plumbing to perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches to perform maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
