Primary SEN Coordinator - Exceptional Educational Institution

The Special Educational Needs (SEN) department has been effectively overseen by a seasoned SEN Coordinator, and the school is seeking an equally skilled and organized individual to take on this pivotal role.

The school caters to children from the age of three in Nursery through to eleven, preparing them for their transition to secondary education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and reviewing Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Conducting individual assessments for students and supporting the administrative aspects of the role.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with EHCPs.
  • Strong knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice and the Primary Curriculum.

The ideal candidate will possess a qualified primary teaching status, hold a SENCO qualification (or demonstrate a strong desire to obtain one), and have extensive experience in addressing Special Educational Needs.
