Job Title - Foot Mobile Engineer

Job Overview

Velocity Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in London. As a key member of the Maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and full operation of Hard Services while considering the needs of clients, staff, visitors, and other service providers.

Key Responsibilities

1. **Perform Electrical Maintenance**: Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Proactive, and Reactive works to all Electrical systems in accordance with agreed service levels.

2. **Respond to Alarms and Emergencies**: Respond to Building Management System alarms and effect emergency repairs as needed.

3. **Maintain Suitable Spares**: Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the sites' plant.

4. **Develop Working Relationships**: Develop a good working relationship with all members of staff and the various client's staff & Contractors.

5. **Complete Job Sheets**: Complete and return job sheets to allow records to be kept up to date. Ensure all tasks issued are completed in agreed SLA times & if there is a risk this cannot be achieved then seek assistance from Supervisors.

6. **Assist Engineering Staff**: Assist Engineering staff in duties as required, including low-level fabric tasks, electrical/mechanical tasks, or basic plumbing tasks.

7. **Maintain Professional and Technical Skills**: Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning.

8. **Comply with Contractual KPI's/SLA's**: Ensure an awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI's/SLA's.

9. **Ensure H&S Awareness**: Ensure that tasks as directed are completed with the appropriate H&S awareness/implementation.

10. **Oversee Sub-Contractors**: Overseeing and monitoring of sub-contractors' works while they are on site undertaking maintenance.

Core Competencies

* Electrical Competences / Qualifications to a minimum or equivalent to City and Guilds 236 Pt 2-3 Electrical qualifications to 18th Edition

* A Recognised or Time Served Apprenticeship

* Good Multi-Skilled Ability

* Ability to supervise contractors

* Able to write Risk and Method Statements

* Able to understand and write Permits
