Job Overview

Role Objective

The primary focus of this position is to design, implement, and oversee the security framework of the bank's cloud infrastructure. This includes establishing and enforcing robust security administration protocols across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and analyses of emerging security technologies within the bank, such as cloud access security brokers (CASBs), cloud data loss prevention (DLP) tools, and cloud encryption mechanisms, ensuring seamless integration to fortify the bank's cloud environments.
  • Formulate and execute effective security administration protocols for all platforms, ensuring alignment with the organization's security and regulatory standards.
  • Deploy cloud security monitoring solutions to identify and alert on potential security threats and irregularities.
  • Lead investigations into incidents related to cloud security, pinpointing root causes and implementing corrective actions swiftly to mitigate damage and restore normal operations.
  • Identify, assess, and integrate cutting-edge cloud security technologies and solutions to thwart threats and bolster the bank's cloud security posture.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and reports for senior management regarding cloud security architecture, policies, procedures, and incidents.
  • Collaborate with the cloud operations team to manage the bank's cloud security infrastructure, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data protection controls, safeguarding cloud resources from unauthorized access and data breaches.

Applicants may be evaluated on essential skills pertinent to success in this role, including a solid foundational knowledge of VM, Endpoint, or Data Security, substantial experience with AWS or Azure and Openshift, and a strong understanding of security network architectures such as Firewalls, DMZ, Proxies, DNS, web, and mail servers, along with job-specific technical expertise.

Additional skills in Python, PowerShell, and experience with cloud technologies (Azure and SaaS-based security solutions) are highly regarded.
