Position Overview
Cora Partners is seeking a dedicated Groundsman to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of a private residence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of heating systems, including ground source and air source heat pumps, thermostats, and underfloor heating.
  • Perform painting and decorating tasks as needed to maintain the aesthetic of the property.
  • Manage roof and gutter maintenance, ensuring they are clear of debris and blockages.
  • Inspect drains and septic systems, coordinating with external contractors for necessary services.
  • Ensure the functionality of electric gates and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Test and maintain electrical appliances throughout the property, including lighting, Wi-Fi, televisions, and kitchen equipment.
  • Regularly check fire and security systems, including alarms and CCTV.
  • Assist with errands and general support for the household.
  • Maintain driveways by leaf blowing as required.
  • Support the household team with heavy lifting and event setup, including cleaning hard-to-reach areas and waste removal.
  • Chop wood and replenish firewood supplies.
  • Service bicycles and maintain the family boat.
  • Clean windows and skylights, ensuring they are well-maintained.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized tasks as needed.
  • Ensure garden irrigation systems are functioning properly.
  • Be available for security call-outs as necessary.
  • Perform additional gardening tasks such as watering, weeding, and lawn care when required.
Candidate Requirements
  • Must possess a valid UK Passport or have the right to work in the UK.
  • Hold a valid driving license.
  • Have prior experience in a similar role within a high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth household.
  • Exhibit a high level of skill, flexibility, and teamwork.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:30.
Salary
£35,000.
