About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in the development of innovative technologies in the clean energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concept Development: Collaborate with our Engineering Director to develop and test concepts for key sub-systems, ensuring the design meets the required specifications and standards.
  • Workshop Support: Provide technical support and assistance in the workshop, engaging in fault-finding and hands-on work with components.
  • Component Design and Sourcing: Design and source components, adapting to various aspects of the design and production process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree/HNC in Mechanical engineering or similar.
  • Proven experience in an engineering design environment.
  • Strong background in technical drawing.
