Position Title:
Paediatric Care Nurse

Working Hours:
Early shifts, Late shifts, Extended shifts, Weekends, and Public Holidays
As a Paediatric Care Nurse, your role extends beyond just caring for infants, children, or adolescents. You play a crucial part in supporting the entire family unit.
The paediatric and neonatal care unit is divided into three distinct sections:
Neonatal care area
Paediatric inpatient unit
Paediatric outpatient services

Our paediatric facilities are designed to be warm and inviting, providing the necessary environment and resources to deliver outstanding, child-focused care.

The dedicated young persons' room and outdoor play space further promote meaningful informal interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing and monitoring patient health status
- Planning, delivering, and evaluating standards of evidence-based nursing care

The role encompasses, but is not limited to, the responsibilities outlined above.

A minimum of 6 months of paid experience in an Acute Paediatric hospital setting within the last 3 years is required.
Adhere to NMC Professional Registration and stay current with contemporary nursing practices.
Ensure accurate documentation is maintained in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines.
Participate in regular mandatory training. *Depending on the Trust, additional certifications and skills may be required.
