Safeguarding Support Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Local Safeguarding Delivery Team as a Safeguarding Support Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality safeguarding services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Local Safeguarding Delivery Team, including monitoring of electronic mailboxes and management of complex diaries.
- Act as a first point of contact for safeguarding enquiries and direct specific enquiries to the relevant team member.
- Develop an understanding of the responsibilities of the Safeguarding team to deal appropriately with queries and routine matters.
- Perform general administrative duties in support of the team and deliver against those areas of work identified in the job description.
- Support the team with gathering information and undertaking confidential enquiries as and when necessary for the Designated Professionals and Safeguarding team.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for an individual with significant secretarial and administrative experience, excellent communication and engagement skills, and the ability to manage and respond to day-to-day challenges. The ideal candidate will have a good standard of general education and experience using a range of work procedures and practices.
Additional qualifications in word processing and spreadsheets are desirable but not essential.
