Job Title: Theatre Electrician/Systems Installation Engineer

Your main tasks will include but not be limited to:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install electrical and electronic equipment, including luminaries, dimmers, amplifiers, mixing desks, screens, projectors, and other specialist equipment in theatres, schools, studios, and entertainment venues.
  • Site Work: Carry out installations at customer sites to a high standard in accordance with verbal instruction, drawings, and/or schedules, working on building sites as well as completed/occupied buildings.
  • Cable Management: Install cable containment systems and pull a wide range of specialist cables, including power, audio, video, data, etc.
  • Termination and Testing: Terminate specialist cables using screw terminal, crimp, solder, etc., and test and document all installed electrical, cable, and specialist equipment systems.
  • Mechanical Installation: Install mechanical equipment such as lighting bars, truss, curtain systems, equipment, and bracket hardware for speakers, projectors, etc.
  • Logistics and Administration: Load and unload vehicles, drive company vehicles, liaise with customers/site supervision/others on site, and prepare for site by picking, packing, ordering, and selecting materials.
  • Customer Service: Deal with installation and sales inquiries by phone or email, pick and pack orders, and carry out van deliveries and collections as required.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean driving license, ensure company vehicles are clean and tidy, and maintain a high level of housekeeping throughout the warehouses.
  • Training and Development: Attend training as required.

Most work is in London, but you will be required to visit the office in BN18 2x a week.
