Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Personal Assistant to support one of our clients in building their confidence and independence. The successful candidate will work closely with the client to develop a personalized support plan, focusing on community engagement, social skills, and daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to the client when feeling anxious or overwhelmed
  • Accompany the client on outings into the community, promoting social interaction and confidence building
  • Assist the client with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene and self-care
  • Work collaboratively with the client to set and achieve goals, promoting independence and self-advocacy
  • Respect the client's privacy and confidentiality at all times

Requirements

  • Reliable and consistent approach to work
  • Ability to drive and access to a car with business class insurance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy and understanding of the needs of individuals with disabilities and mental health conditions

Working Arrangements

The successful candidate will work 16 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate the client's needs. The rate of pay is £12.45 per hour, including mileage and expenses.
