Job Title: Engineering Teacher

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Teacher to join our team at a specialist STEM College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching KS4 and KS5 Engineering and Product Design, and will have the opportunity to work with a passionate and dedicated team of educators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Engineering and Product Design
• Maintain a well-organized classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment
• Work effectively with other members of staff to achieve academic excellence
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Comply with the college's policies and procedures

Requirements:

• QTS or QTLS qualification
• Recent mainstream school-based experience as an Engineering Teacher or teaching an associated subject
• Experience using relevant resources, such as software and equipment
• Good classroom and behavior management skills
• Relevant Engineering or Product Design related degree (desirable)
• Passion for STEM subjects
