Territory Sales Representative

Salary:

Role Purpose:

The primary objective of the Territory Sales Representative is to drive the company's growth by marketing internet services and related products to individuals, Micro SME businesses, and local communities.


Main Responsibilities:

The Territory Sales Representative is accountable for contributing to the overall team goals and achieving their personal sales targets. This includes upselling to premium packages, promoting value-added services, and representing the brand positively.


Key Activities:
While responsibilities may vary, they typically include:


A solid background in sales, preferably in door-to-door roles within telecoms or utilities, although all relevant sales experience will be considered.


Comfortable engaging with potential customers in a field sales environment, adapting your approach to ensure high sales conversion rates.

You will be adept at handling objections and possess a tenacious attitude.


You will be driven and ambitious, consistently striving to surpass your targets and objectives.


Proficient in utilizing new sales systems and tools such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.


Listen to customer needs and present solutions effectively to secure sales.


Maintain and nurture relationships with existing customers through in-person meetings, phone calls, and emails.


Manage your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed set targets.


Participate in team meetings and share best practices with colleagues.


Essential Person Specification

Knowledge:
Proficient in MS Office & CRM systems

Understanding of internet and social networking

Familiarity with door-to-door sales techniques

Comprehension of the significance of exceptional customer service

IT knowledge (desirable)

Skills/Attributes:
Strong sales experience with a passion for exceeding sales targets

Ability to multitask using relevant systems

A high level of self-motivation and ambition

Customer-focused

Experience:
Proven track record of achieving targets

Experience in presenting and engaging with groups and potential customers

Demonstrable experience in door-to-door selling and fixed sales

Experience in a sales performance-driven culture

Minimum of 1 year in sales

Qualifications:
Driving license is essential

Good level of education

Circumstances:
This role will involve travel throughout Cornwall or Devon as needed

Performance against revenue targets

Interaction with diverse customer types

Collaboration with others to achieve team goals

Professional dress code is required

Working hours from 11am to 7pm, including Evenings and Weekends

Evening and weekend work may require overnight stays
