Waking Night Care Assistant for Physically Disabled Individual

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Waking Night Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to a physically disabled individual. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the client's comfort, safety, and well-being throughout the night.
About the RoleThe Waking Night Care Assistant will be responsible for:
- Providing constant observation and manual handling for the client
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Preparing and serving meals and snacks
- Managing the client's medication and medical equipment
- Providing social support and companionship
The client is a physically disabled individual who requires 24/7 care and support. They have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and rely on the assistance of dedicated caregivers to maintain their independence and well-being.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in caring for individuals with physical disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move the client as needed
- Fluent in English
