As the Workshop Controller, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service, guiding clients from vehicle drop-off to handover.
  • Keeping customers informed about the status of their vehicles.
  • Collaborating with the Workshop, Parts, and Sales teams to guarantee timely vehicle readiness.
  • Overseeing the workflow of all tasks to meet brand standards.
  • Leading a team of Technicians to ensure efficient and effective workshop operations.
  • Providing dedicated management to the service department team, ensuring a superior customer experience.
  • Adhering to established processes at all times.
  • Conducting regular reviews with your Aftersales Manager to identify and address operational challenges.
  • Monitoring workshop performance to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Planning and managing workshop resources to meet work demands.
  • Supporting the department team as needed to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
  • Assisting the service department with the specifications and approval of complex jobs before commencement.
  • Managing the transition of intricate or potentially contentious jobs to ensure customer agreement.

  • This position is well-suited for individuals with prior experience in a dealership setting, whether as a Trainee Workshop Controller, Experienced Workshop Foreman, or Experienced Workshop Controller.
