Position Overview

Themis Recruit is representing a prestigious regional law firm that is actively seeking a highly skilled Solicitor specializing in catastrophic brain injuries. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) and a demonstrable history of effectively managing complex brain injury cases. This role offers flexibility in location, with the requirement to attend the office periodically and engage with clients across various regions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee brain injury cases with a comprehensive approach, providing exceptional legal guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to prioritize client recovery and ensure efficient case handling.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Tailor case strategies to meet the individual needs of each claimant.
  • Coordinate extensive documentation and expert testimonies to effectively present each client's story.
  • Work alongside experienced counsel to guarantee outstanding client representation.
  • Utilize alternative dispute resolution techniques to optimize settlements while preparing for trial if necessary.
  • Manage costs judiciously across all cases.
  • Stay informed about developments in personal injury law, particularly concerning brain injuries.
  • Contribute significantly to the firm's marketing and business development efforts.

Qualifications
  • Proven success in managing brain injury cases from inception to resolution, including court proceedings and settlement meetings.
  • A strong commitment to facilitating early and comprehensive rehabilitation for clients.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and advocate effectively for clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to devise effective case strategies.
