Cruise Consultant Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cruise Consultant to join our team at C&M Travel Recruitment. As a Cruise Consultant, you will be responsible for selling and creating unique tailor-made Worldwide cruise holidays, managing product offerings for allocated cruise lines, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cruise Sales: Create and sell customized cruise itineraries for clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Product Management: Manage and maintain a portfolio of cruise lines, staying up-to-date with product offerings, pricing, and promotions.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, reporting, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a reservations role within the travel industry, preferably with a tour operator, cruise company, or travel agent.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
  • Travel Knowledge: Good travel geography knowledge and personal travel experience to Worldwide destinations.
  • Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences and building long-term relationships.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive Salary: £25,000 basic salary, with uncapped commission and an OTE of up to £34,000.
  • Flexible Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, with occasional bank holidays.
