Electrical and Mechanical Engineer Opportunity

Pursuit Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high voltage electrical maintenance and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct fault diagnostics on electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment
  • Provide support to the production shift supervisor in reacting to breakdowns efficiently and successfully
  • Facility maintenance, ensuring optimum operation of all ancillary and peripheral systems in the plant and warehouse
  • Responsible for plant facility and ancillary services
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical systems, electronic drives and controls, and engineering regulations
  • Awareness of basic PLC fault finding (Siemens)
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance documents, i.e., electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams
Requirements:
  • Completed a maintenance engineering apprenticeship (Mech-elec/Elec-mech)
  • 5 years of related experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance or project roles
  • HNC/ONC or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 18th Edition desirable

They will be results-oriented, working closely within the maintenance team to deliver on key success areas of the business plan, taking corrective action, anticipating issues, and setting contingency plans.
