About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at TPF Recruitment. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality audit and accounts services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead audits from planning through to completion, liaising with the team and client where necessary.
  • Support a varied portfolio of clients from owner-managed to not-for-profit organisations.
  • Provide accountancy and taxation advice and support to clients as necessary.
  • Host and conduct pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients.
  • Assist in the management of a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants.
  • Mentor colleagues, reviewing their work and encouraging prompt and high-quality delivery and service.
  • Develop and expand the team's skillset through development plans and training and support.
  • Contribute to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.
Requirements
  • Qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience with relevant experience.
  • Background in an accountancy practice, with at least 1-3 years or more experience preparing accounts, conducting audits, tax and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
  • Looking for a challenging, long-term career move, at Senior level, within a genuinely growing and expanding firm of certified chartered accountants, offering progression and career development.
