Job Title: Graduate Recruitment Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Graduate Recruitment Manager to join our team at LBR Legal Business Recruitment. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for leading the recruitment and development of trainee solicitors and legal apprentices in our London office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the recruitment process for trainee solicitors and legal apprentices, including initial pre-screening, interviewing, and chairing the decision-making process.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the firm's employer branding, including reviewing promotional materials, organizing artwork, and maintaining the graduate recruitment website.
  • Oversee the planning and review of work experience programs, including vacation schemes, internships, and ad hoc requests.
  • Collaborate with the DE&I Manager for Europe to enhance diversity programs and investigate ways to improve the graduate recruitment offering.
  • Manage graduate recruitment diversity partnerships and events in collaboration with the DE&I team.
  • Oversee the 6-month seat allocation process and lead on the trainee solicitor qualification process.
  • Monitor trainee performance and proactively deal with any performance issues.
  • Conduct exit interviews with trainees where applicable.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a Graduate Recruitment function in a law firm, with a full understanding of the processes involved in trainee solicitor recruitment and development.
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing initiatives that contribute to achieving business objectives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to quickly establish credible relationships at all levels.
  • The ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholders, as well as collaborate with junior members of staff.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, with a resilient approach to delivering difficult messages and overseeing employee relations issues.
