Job Title: Assistant Category Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Category Manager to join our team at Greene King. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a critical role in establishing and executing an effective Vendor Management Strategy to monitor and drive vendor performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a Vendor Management Strategy to ensure optimal vendor performance and governance.
  • Manage contractual relationships with third-party suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Monitor and analyze vendor performance data to inform strategic decisions and drive business outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in vendor management, preferably in a product-based IT environment.
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving favorable terms and conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
