About the Role

Aramark is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Chef. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will have the opportunity to develop your culinary skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals, following recipe cards and adhering to food safety guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with the Chef Manager to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Participate in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans, ensuring a clean and safe working environment
  • Monitor and record temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries
  • Assist with deliveries and stock checks, ensuring accurate inventory management

Requirements

  • No prior experience necessary, just a willingness to learn and a passion for cooking
  • Excellent team player and communicator
  • Committed to the apprenticeship and willing to learn and develop new skills
  • DBS required

What We Offer

  • Hourly rate of £11.44
  • Full-time position, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only
