Job Title: Senior/Lead Data Architect

About the Role:

Xpertise Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior/Lead Data Architect to join our client's fast-growing data team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the data team can expand quickly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Modelling: Design and implement scalable, efficient data models that support business requirements and drive data-driven decision making.
  • ETL Expertise: Ensure data models are effectively integrated into ETL processes, ensuring seamless data integration and high-quality data.
  • Data Governance: Implement and maintain robust data governance practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance, aligning with industry standards and best practices.
  • AWS & Databricks: Utilize AWS and Databricks to develop and optimize data models and workflows, leveraging cloud-based technologies to drive business growth.
  • DevOps: Experience modelling, sharing data models with developers, and then reviewing and releasing, ensuring smooth collaboration and efficient data delivery.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, to understand data requirements and ensure seamless data integration, driving business outcomes and growth.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, metadata, and standards, ensuring transparency and ease of use.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance the performance of data models, proactively addressing any issues and ensuring high-quality data delivery.
