This is a full-time permanent position with Howett Thorpe, a growing SME business, seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to be responsible for internal and external management information data and stakeholder reporting, working closely with the finance team and regional business teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Issue MI stakeholder reporting and submission timetables, ensuring deadlines are met
- Extract and validate MI data from CRM and finance systems
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end MI data submissions
- Prepare performance reports and presentations for regional heads, providing financial commentaries
- Develop and automate MI reports as needed
- Assist with forecasting
- Strengthen internal controls over data collection and quality and reporting
- Drive improvements in MI processes and systems
- Act as the main contact for reporting requirements
- Assist with the annual audit process
- Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA)
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Confident learning and using a variety of systems (MS Power Pivot / Power BI, CRM, ERP)
- Strong Excel and Word skills
- Detailed oriented, accurate and experienced in validation checks
- Strong analytical skills
