We deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient mental health services for adults, ensuring a secure and nurturing environment. Role Responsibilities:
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a vital role in our multidisciplinary team, which is dedicated to supporting private patients in a specialized unit. Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating and treating private patients within your area of expertise.
- Supervising the care of both outpatients and inpatients.
- Collaborating with a diverse team of professionals, including medical staff, nursing personnel, psychologists, and other therapy experts.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and governance activities.
- Enhancing your practice in line with the esteemed reputation of The Priory Ticehurst.
- Engaging in on-call duties for the private unit.
- Building networks with professional colleagues and referral sources.
- Continuing professional development and fulfilling Revalidation requirements.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- GMC registration with relevant specialist accreditation.
- A solid understanding of Clinical Governance and regulatory frameworks.
- Successful completion of a DBS check.
- No prior private practice is necessary; this position offers an excellent opportunity to embark on a private practice career.
