Main Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver designs within budget and meet project deadlines
  2. Manage resource allocations to ensure team members are fully utilized
  3. Collaborate with senior management to assist with projects from other offices and disciplines
  4. Ensure that project requirements are incorporated into designs and meet regulatory standards
  5. Authorize design information and reports
  6. Ensure that all designs are prepared in accordance with relevant technical guidelines

Requirements:

  1. Knowledge of Section 278 and Section 38 highway design projects
  2. Experience in developing, mentoring, and supervising Highway Design staff
  3. Robust working knowledge of highways technical documents within the DMRB
  4. Ability to manage the development of contract documents in accordance with relevant Highway contracts
  5. Experience in highway drainage design and use of MicroDrainage software
  6. Working knowledge of the Civils 3D CAD package
