Mobile Application Engineer

This role can be based in Basingstoke or Gateshead, with a flexible 3-day per week schedule.

Our client, a leader in the printing industry, works closely with governments and banks, providing digital solutions and product design to clients globally. They are seeking a skilled Mobile Application Engineer to join their team, focusing on updating and maintaining application software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality software, utilizing appropriate patterns and methodologies.
  • Focus on delivering software that meets users' needs, driving value and satisfaction.
  • Ensure regular updates to team members and colleagues through agile ceremonies and software development life cycle tools, such as Azure DevOps and Jira.
  • Identify areas for improvement and suggest ways to enhance processes, technologies, and team performance.
  • Proactively identify risks associated with software and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Provide mentoring and support to colleagues, contributing to their professional development.
Required Skills
  • Strong understanding and commercial experience with.NET MAUI.
  • Ability to write complex software and maintain it effectively.
  • Good understanding of Agile team dynamics and collaboration.
  • Technical skills in solution design and application architecture.
  • Ability to write automated tests at various levels.
  • Leadership skills to ensure technical delivery and engagement.
  • Experience in designing and developing mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in Git or other source control software.
