C C++ Software Engineer (Windows) - Competitive Salary

Are you an experienced Software Engineer specializing in Back End development with expertise in C and C++ on Windows platforms?

Join a leading global provider of market data solutions and take your career to the next level in a senior, hands-on capacity while enjoying a comprehensive benefits package.

In this role, you will be part of an Agile team dedicated to the development and maintenance of Exchange Connectivity software systems that demand real-time processing and low latency. Your responsibilities will include managing data feeds and creating essential transport protocols for efficient data transmission. The existing platform is built using C++ and C#, deployed on AWS, and is designed for high scalability and low latency, currently processing billions of messages daily.

Work Environment:

You will collaborate with your team in the office for part of the week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficient in C and C++ development on Windows operating systems
  • Experience across the full software development lifecycle
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP and multicast
  • Strong foundation in Computer Science principles including multi-threading, Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, and Design Patterns
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
