Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to provide comprehensive HR support to the Department of Haematology and Stem Cells Institute professional services team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including recruitment and selection, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Assist with the coordination of HR processes, including payroll, compliance, and occupational health.
  • Communicate effectively with academic, research, and professional staff, as well as visitors, to provide a proactive and responsive service.
  • Work collaboratively with key university services to ensure all processes are followed and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Provide a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.

Requirements:

  • Experience working administratively in an HR area.
  • Ability to demonstrate factual and theoretical knowledge of HR, including working with multiple processes and tight regulations.
  • Education to HND/HNC level, level 4/5 vocational qualification, or equivalent level of practical experience.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
