KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
- Formulate strategies to integrate livelihood-related initiatives during the development and execution of project plans.
- Conduct comprehensive baseline assessments alongside project teams and local partners to identify needs, prioritize actions, and facilitate planning.
- Collaborate with local authorities and target communities to establish participatory criteria for beneficiary selection and ensure the appropriate selection of direct beneficiaries for various response types.
- Plan, execute, monitor, and evaluate the livelihood component of the project in accordance with approved agreements from donors and local government.
- Provide technical assistance to local authorities and target communities to enhance their planning and implementation capabilities.
- Organize regular planning and review meetings with frontline project staff and local partners, documenting lessons learned and providing feedback to the Field Operations Coordinator and Field Operations Manager.
- Work with project staff and partners to establish quality standards and action steps, monitoring performance accordingly.
- Conduct regular site supervision and collaborate closely with field workers.
- Ensure timely mobilization and appropriate utilization of allocated resources on-site.
- Guarantee that the organization's food resources are distributed to the appropriate and needy direct transfer and public work participants in the community, ensuring compliance with required quantity and quality.
- Maintain accurate records, documents, and control plans for monitoring project/program implementation.
- Prepare bi-weekly and monthly implementation work plans.
- Oversee project implementation, adhering to established procedures and mechanisms for material deployment to affected areas.
- Offer technical guidance, training, and support to distribution agents and communities to ensure timely execution of activities.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with local officials, community institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Stay informed about developments in the sector, including best practices within the country, and ensure ongoing personal development and learning.
- Prepare regular project progress updates at the county level and engage in discussions with local partners at both county and payam levels.
- Represent Save the Children at county and/or payam levels, participating in local NFI, FSL, and food clusters as required.
- Ensure that the work plan aligns closely with the regularly updated project work plan, guiding project implementation and progress toward completion.
- Collaborate with project staff and local government to develop action plans for monitoring, review, and periodic project reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, intermediate, and final reports for submission to the supervisor.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Bachelor's degree, Diploma, or equivalent in Agriculture, Livelihoods, Natural Resource Management, Disaster Risk Reduction, Food Security, or related fields.
- A minimum of three years of experience in the agriculture sector, with at least three years in local or international NGOs or government roles.
- Experience in implementing similar projects/programs focused on livelihood-based emergency responses in the agriculture sector and village-level saving and credit activities.
- Understanding of and experience in project implementation techniques, participatory planning, and monitoring practices.
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently while effectively coordinating with a team.
- Proven skills in managing change, achieving results, ensuring quality, team building, and capacity development.
- Ability and willingness to work under pressure as part of a professional team.
