Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct radiographic examinations across diverse modalities, adhering to the department's established standards.
  • Ensure a high level of patient care and comfort, maintaining a patient-centered focus at all times.
  • Operate efficiently and effectively in all tasks.
  • Arrive on duty punctually, dressed appropriately, and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
  • Organize, prioritize, and manage your workload effectively.
  • Mentor and support student radiographers in their educational journey.

Education and Qualifications

Essential

  • BSc(Hons) in Radiography, DCR(D) Diploma from the College of Radiographers, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Experience

Essential

  • Current knowledge of general imaging techniques.

Desirable

  • Post-qualification experience.
  • Experience working independently.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Capability to teach and mentor students, junior staff, and new team members.
