Harrison Holgate is a leading provider of insurance services, dedicated to delivering exceptional results to our clients. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Handler - Personal Injury to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Apply our company's reserving philosophy to ensure accurate and efficient claims handling.
- Manage claims through various portals, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Negotiate with policyholders and third parties to achieve successful settlements, including Personal Injury claims.
- Communicate effectively with brokers, solicitors, and adjusters to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Assist with internal and external audit processes to maintain compliance and quality standards.
- Liaise with underwriters to address claims-related issues and provide expert advice.
- Put customer service excellence at the forefront of everything we do, delivering exceptional experiences to both internal and external customers.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of coverage's, benefits, and exclusions to provide expert advice and guidance.
- Good understanding of legal liability and supporting case law to inform claims decisions.
- Understanding and application of legal and regulatory issues related to policy wordings.
- Knowledge of the MoJ reforms, RTA, and Credit Hire to ensure compliance and effective claims handling.
- Experience with Personal Injury evaluation tools and handling PI claims in both portals and outside.
