Job Title: Embroidery and Design Support Specialist

GPS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Embroidery and Design Support Specialist to join our team in Milton Keynes. As an Embroidery and Design Support Specialist, you will play a key role in assisting with logo sampling, colouring-up new season styles, and maintaining the embroidery database.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Logo Setup and Origination: Set up logos, create DST colour sequences, and ensure accurate colour representation.
  • Logo Sampling and Photography: Conduct logo sampling, take high-quality photographs, and obtain approval sheets.
  • Colour Palette Creation: Develop new season colour palettes using Madeira Classic threads, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Embroidery Database Management: Update and organise the embroidery reference database, ensuring easy access to information.
  • Colour Story Creation: Prepare colour stories for orders, ensuring accurate colour representation and consistency.
  • Colouring-up Orders: Colour-up orders to create colour sheets for in-house production, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Administration and Invoicing: Manage the embroidery inbox, process logo invoicing, and update the origination tracker.
  • Customer Support: Provide embroidery-related support to customers, both internal and external, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Instruction Sheet Preparation: Prepare embroidery instruction sheets for orders delivered to EU contractors, ensuring clear and accurate instructions.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers to review details and exceed customer satisfaction.
Required Competencies:
  • Customer Communication: Confidently communicate with a wide range of customers, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Wilcom Embroidery Studio Software, with strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Attention to Detail: Pay close attention to detail, striving for perfection in all aspects of the role.
  • Education and Experience: A Bachelor's Degree in textiles, embroidery, or a related field is advantageous, with industry experience in apparel and a strong passion for embroidery and design.
