Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site-Based Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team at Integral UK Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with our company's PPM and task schedules.

Main Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with the company's PPM and task schedules.
  • Undertake PPM activity in a quality, professional manner.
  • Production of technical and situational reports as required.
  • Proactively use technology systems to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Carry out works requested in a professional and proactive manner.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with the team and clients.
  • Write accurate and timely activity reports.
  • Assist the management team in producing quotations by providing accurate and good quality information.
  • Attend team meetings and briefings as requested.
  • Provide accurate time sheet information weekly and on time.
  • Ensure the company is presented in a good light at all times.
  • Undertake reactive maintenance works as directed by the Help Desk and/or management team.
  • Escalate major site issues or incidents to the line manager as soon as possible.
  • Manage sub-contractors while working on site.
  • Understand and be aware of relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality legislation.
  • Ensure materials and equipment are handled, stored, and used with due regard to relevant legislation.
  • Participate in health and safety processes required under company policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other reasonable instruction from the Contract Manager or Line Managers.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in high-profile commercial buildings.
  • LV Authorized Person (A Bonus).
  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or similar.
  • C&G Pts. 1 & 2, equivalent or exceeds.
  • 18th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation (Ability to attain 18th Edition through additional training if you have 17th Edition).
  • C&G 2391 test and inspection; BS 7671:2001 for inspection, testing, and certification.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff.
  • Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation.
  • Good IT and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm, clear thinking, and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints.
