Graduate Cover Teacher - The Role

We are working with secondary schools in Greater Manchester to recruit experienced aspiring teachers for their Teaching Apprentice cohort. As a Graduate Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for covering classes for absent teachers, providing a positive learning environment, and ensuring pupils are learning effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monday - Friday school-based hours
  • Paid per day including holiday pay
  • Excellent training provided - Regular cover supervisor training from Aspire and Safeguarding training
  • Covering classes for absent teachers - pre-planned work provided

Computing Graduate Cover Teacher - Person Specification

We are looking for a strong academic background, a degree required 2:2 or above, and a confident and enthusiastic personality. As a Graduate Cover Teacher, you will be perfect for aspiring teachers who want to gain experience in a teaching capacity prior to applying to teacher training.
