Job Title: Vice President, Account Management

Simon Property Group is seeking a seasoned leasing professional to join our team as Vice President, Account Management. This role will involve developing new business with strategically targeted retailers, identifying and securing new relationships within the Simon portfolio, and executing creative leasing strategies to improve merchandising mix and maximize income at our properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement leasing strategies to drive business growth and expansion
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with national, regional, and local retailers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute lease agreements and ensure timely completion of necessary work
  • Manage budgets and forecasts for permanent rental income to maximize revenue and minimize downtime
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key retail tenants and identify opportunities for growth and expansion
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • MBA a plus, but not required
  • 10 years of retail leasing/selling experience
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and expansion
  • Strong understanding of the retail business, including balance sheet, P&L, and gross margins
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
