We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at CareTech Group. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in providing exceptional care and support to children with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide managerial control and direction to staff duties and responsibilities.
  • Assist the Registered Manager in implementing all aspects of the Statement of Purpose.
  • Support and manage the staff team to enable them to meet the needs of the children effectively.
  • Supervise new starters during their probationary period.
  • Work on a rota basis according to the needs of young people, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of the developmental needs and milestones of young people with complex needs and/or learning disabilities.
  • Level 3 children and Young People qualification.
  • At least 2 years' experience within a Senior/Team Leader position working with children and young people.
  • Ability to communicate, engage, and form positive relationships with young people, parent/carers, and other professionals.
  • Proven skills, knowledge, and/or experience in managing and leading a team in a positive and effective manner.
