Skilled Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a proficient Skilled Maintenance Technician to become a vital part of our engineering team at Marshalls. In this role, you will be tasked with delivering maintenance assistance throughout our manufacturing facility. Your main emphasis will be on scheduled preventative maintenance and addressing equipment failures. You will ensure that machinery is effectively serviced, repairs are conducted safely, and maintenance timelines are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting both planned and emergency maintenance tasks
- Managing maintenance budgets
- Ensuring the availability of necessary maintenance parts
- Developing and refining maintenance procedures
- Meeting site performance indicators
- Adhering to industry regulations and standards
- Applying lean methodologies for operational efficiency
Required Skills:
- Background in maintenance (mechanical or electrical)
- Proficiency in fundamental mechanical/electrical workshop skills
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably SAP - PM Module
- Familiarity with contractor management systems
- Engagement in continuous improvement projects
