Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to join their team in Huddersfield. As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting condition surveys, feasibility studies, site inspections, quality management, design coordination, managing tenders and procurement, contract administration, and writing design specifications.
About the Role:
- Conduct condition surveys and feasibility studies to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform site inspections and attend site meetings to ensure projects are progressing as planned.
- Work on residential projects, including single housing schemes and large-scale housing developments.
- Manage tenders and procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Write design specifications and coordinate with designers and contractors to ensure projects meet client requirements.
About the Ideal Candidate:
- Must have relevant construction industry experience and a strong understanding of building surveying principles.
- Be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have a full UK driver's license and be willing to travel occasionally for work-related purposes.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
