About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team at Glasgow Airport. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the terminal building, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for passengers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all areas of the terminal building are cleaned to a high standard, including floors, walls, and surfaces.
- Operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and scrubbers, to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Empty bins and recyclables, and maintain the upkeep of washrooms, toilets, offices, and external areas.
- Assist with the handling of hazardous materials and ensure the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work independently and use own initiative to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Person Specification:
- Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work.
