Accounting Support Role

At PMR, we are seeking an experienced Accounting Support Specialist to join our team as an Assistant Service Charge Accountant. This role will provide support to our senior accountants on their commercial and residential portfolios, ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage service charge budgets, raise charges, and demands to tenants and leaseholders.
  • Reconcile client bank accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Chase unpaid rents and service charges, and liaise with solicitors to recover outstanding amounts.
  • Assist in preparing service charge year-end accounts for submission to accountants, and liaise with external auditors and property managers.
  • Provide quarterly variance reports and assist with monthly client reporting.
  • Deal with queries from tenants, leaseholders, suppliers, and property managers.
  • Set up new management accounts on QUBE and update the system following lease renewals and assignments.

Requirements

  • Experience in residential and commercial block management, including mixed-use properties.
  • Knowledge of the QUBE (MRI) accounts system.
  • Strong accounting and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
