Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Collaborate with local authorities, developers, and architects on civil engineering projects related to residential, commercial, and care facilities.
  • Manage civil engineering projects through various stages, including drainage, external works, and highway elements.
  • Contribute to the design of drainage systems, highway layouts, and S278/S38 schemes.
  • Engage with developers, architects, and local authorities within a design office environment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges and the Manual for Streets.
  • Prepare fee proposals and manage project budgets effectively.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Site 3D or similar 3D design software proficiently.
  • Participate in the Quality Management System (QMS) by performing necessary administrative tasks.
Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A degree or HND in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience in managing small to medium-sized projects.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating with technicians and structural engineering teams.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new engineering software.
