About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fine Art Packer to join our team at Red Recruit. As a Fine Art Packer, you will be responsible for handling and packing various types of fine art and securing them for safe transport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation/De-Installation of Fine Art and Furniture: You will be responsible for installing and de-installing fine art and furniture in various settings, including corporate and residential properties.
  • Artwork Inspection and Packing: You will inspect artworks to determine the best way to pack and transport them, ensuring their safety and security during transit.
  • Condition Reports and Photography: You will prepare detailed condition reports and photographs of artworks, documenting their condition before and after transport.
  • Logistics and Administration: You will handle paperwork, including bills of lading, labeling, and timesheets, ensuring efficient and accurate record-keeping.
Requirements
  • Experience: You will have at least 1 year of experience in moving or fine art, with a strong understanding of basic art terminology.
  • Physical Demands: You will be physically fit and able to work comfortably on ladders, scaffolding, or mechanized lifts.
  • Communication Skills: You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with art professionals and collectors.
