Job Summary: Novakid School is seeking a highly skilled Editor/Content Specialist to join our Content Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality educational content for our online English language program.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Edit and Proof Content: Review and refine educational content, including lessons, homework exercises, and assessments, to ensure they meet Novakid's standards and philosophy.
  2. Ensure Content Quality: Ensure that all content is engaging, educational, and fun for our young learners.
  3. Participate in Content Review: Collaborate with the team to review and provide constructive feedback on content.
  4. Observe Classes: Attend classes to ensure that the material is of high quality and meets our standards.
  5. Improve Existing Material: Continuously improve and update existing content to ensure it remains relevant and effective.
  6. Edit Multimedia Content: Review and refine multimedia content, including videos and interactive materials.
  7. Ensure Cultural Sensitivity: Ensure that all content is inclusive and culturally sensitive.
  8. Suggest Improvements: Proactively suggest content improvements and enhancements to the team.

Requirements:

  1. Computer Literacy: High level of computer literacy, particularly with G Suite.
  2. Higher Education: Higher education in a related field, such as English.
  3. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in editing and proofing educational material or children's books and/or games.
  4. Language Proficiency: Native speaker educated in either the UK or USA.
